Service Description

Aerating is the process of punching cores into the ground to break and loosen up impacted soil creating small plugs on the lawn to allow air, water, and nutrients to reach the grass roots, while thatch is the top layer of dead grass or organic matter that suffocates the grass not allowing your lawn to breathe, reach the grass roots, and grow to its full potential. Lowcountry Lawn In Order suggests an annual aeration service as well as a dethatching service if necessary or bi-annually minimally to remove unwanted thatch. Once the lawn is aerated and or dethatched, an overseed application is recommended to promote new, healthier, and a faster greening lawn.
